They had arguably one of the easiest schedules so far.
Their next 5 could be a slaughterhouse
Calgary, Toronto BC BC Edmonton.
Its likely that they're 1 6 by the time labor day roles around.

Score flattered the Riders tonight. Put another way, they are no good.

Where's Shultz and Climie on the panel? Steagal and Dunigan hate each other.

I noticed grocery shopping last night that all of the watermelons bins were completely empty. Only thing left was the mini $5 watermelons which im guessing would be sold out too if Rider fans could bring their kids on 13 hour drive to Calgary.
God I can't wait for Rider fans to leave this weekend

Another Rider loss to celebrate! Now, would it be preferable for the Riders to lose out, or win just enough to keep Chris Jones employed? Please discuss.

Having your QB yucking it up on the sidelines after he gets pulled, and talking about QB Controversy is just bad optics.
I've always struggled with watching the CFL and even the NFL and seeing players on the bench yucking it up while they're getting their poop handed to them.
I've also struggled with players on the losing side showing no emotion or give a craps after the game when teams are handshaking. I know its a petty thing but for some reason it drives me Banana

I'd like to see them lose out, as they wont fire Jones this season.
Firing a guy who holds 3 positions: VP, GM and HC halfway into his 3 year contract will be too expensive for the club. Imagine when they were paying out Taman and Chamblin's salary and then add a higher salary. A VP's salary.
For next season though, i'd like to see the Riders improve marginally to a 7-11 record, so Jones and point to how he's making progress with the team and ask for an extension to his contract

Sure, it's optics... if you're a Riders Fan
I think it's great that Glenn is yucking it up. It shows he's not taking the job seriously and is only there for the paycheque.
All the proceeds of those stupid foam watermelon helmets and the ugly green nylon they call a jersey are going to the pockets of a QB who's shrugging his shoulders at the game and laughing at the fans.
I'm right there laughing with him

Thank you RedBlacks for that week 2 40-17 beatdown! "Juan and Juan!" is the best start for the Riders in about 5 years!

Did anyone see the video of Mike Sherman tangled up with his headset in anticipation of the Gatorade shower? Yep, the Riders lost to a team coached by that guy. Congratulations Riders you earned this bump.

13 game losing streak....go to Regina to cure that!
That was a bad football game and the Riders were the worst team in it. Unreal.

Rider fans pre 2007 before the team had a sniff of regular season success were tolerable, and lot of them were pretty cool. But the sudden success of the team ,the heavy marketing leading to huge sales, and the type of fan attracted made their fan base totally insufferable. People went to games to power drink and it became trendy. Their fans think they're the Green Bay of the league, but they have none of the class and storied tradition the Packers do. I honestly can't stand that team, their organization, and their misfit hillbilly POS fans. I hope nothing but bad things for that club.

this might be the most accurate and awesome post in this thread. Troy Westwood was ahead of his time when he called out the rider fans
