A few months ago Danny Elfman, yes that Danny Elfman, put out an intriguing solo album. It’s dark and weird and not at all what I expected.

Well, now he re-recorded a song from that album with Trent Reznor sharing some of the vocals. It’s pretty darn good.

This KennyHoopla track takes me back to hearing Bloc Party for the first time in 2002, his other tracks lean hard into Blink182 territory (Travis Barker is involved) but damn, the kids may be just alright.

The new Guns N' Roses single is...something. Axl's voice has so many effects on it, you can barely tell it's him. The only thing that distinguishes it as a Gn'R song is Slash's guitar playing.

So does this mean that these guys are finally putting out a new record soon? Or are they just happy touring around the world making a gazillion dollars as a legacy act?
