Oilers are having an A+ week. Puljujarvi, Turris, Quine, Ennis, Forsberg. Stellar.

I heard they now have a glut of bottom 6 forwards and need to move a few and its a real concern over at their boards.
Who's willing to take scraps from the stellar oilers supporting cast that couldn't support McDavid putting up 3 points a game? Anybody?

The university area is the jewel of the city, and I actually like living here. But the players got to see the worst parts and were confined there.

But ya know what neither, St Albert nor anywhere in Edmonton, are?
“Calgary Jr.”.
Their ilk is much much much more, Winnipeg’esque, or Regina’ish.

Sorry, bottom 6 by edmonton standards.
Bottom three and tweeners by everyone else's.
And I'm referring to the crap they have sitting around on their payroll still, not today acquisitions.

But . . . but I thought allz the free agents would go to Edmonton because of McDavid and Drasiatl . . . and Holland.
The only guys that are going there are the dudes that nobody else wants. They go with the attitude of, its a job and I'm getting paid.
Maybe they see on the ice what everyone but Oiler fans can see. That until McDavid decides not to be a me first, its my points and my trophies and F 2 way play, and the same with Draisaitl that playing for that franchise means no winning ever.
There a reason why a team with two "world class" "generational players don't make the playoffs besides team construction. Because those "generational" show on the ice that its all about them.

Incorrect. St. Albert very much has the feel of Calgary. No one in St. Albert even remotely considers themselves as part of Greaserville. Plenty of Flames gear as well.

I was in St-Albert many, many times and never got the Calgary feeling.
Iginla was from St-Albert and very much considered himself from Edmonton and an Oilers fan.

I'm pretty sure free agents are only known as such because they are free of the Oiler stink.
In a sense, we're all free agents here.

You have a very low opinion of Calgary.

Agree with you 100% - I lived in St. Albert for 10 years, beautiful smaller city. The St. Albert community is just as proud of Iginla and Troy Murray as they are of Messier. Lots of Flames fans in St. Albert
