When those huge ones pop up on the phone, you don't even read them because you're madly scrolling towards the edge to close them. Kind of defeats the purpose of advertising.

Do the ads have anything to do with refresh page not working? I'm on Safari, latest mac os, and when I refresh a page nothing happens. I have to go out to a different forum and come back in to see it updated.
And in case this is something in mind, I'm happy to pay an annual fee ($30-50 range) to have an ad-free experience.

Twice now one of the ads crashes Chrome here. The fan in the computer starts just roaring and I have to ctrl alt delete fast to close the browser so it doesn't explode like it sounds like it is supposed too. Thought it was just a one off but just happened again. Maybe just a coincidence but can adds or something do that?

Not impossible that a poorly made ad could be using up way too much CPU, if you know which ad it is we can probably report it.

There's a super annoying ad that's a Simpson clip that auto-full screens on my phone. I don't even know what it's for, because I immediately just go do something else when I see it.

I'm on PC (Chrome) and when I go advanced to type out a message if the ads reload, my cursor is removed from the text box. It makes it hard to type for more than say 30 seconds.
