The big question mark will be the goaltending. The Knights are a better team, but facing the Oilers game after game seems to take a toll on goalies. I wonder if Brossoit will be up to it. If he can maintain even play with Skinner over the course of the series, the depth of the Knights should win out.

I also expect we'll see some replays of stuff like we saw in game four that let the Oilers come back against the Kings.

Vegas in 5.
I came into the playoffs worried about the Oilers but am actually more calm after that round 1 series.

They didn't look that good and I think McDavid is injured. He doesn't look like he did last year in the playoffs.
Draibaby looks good, so the key will be slowing him down and I think Vegas has the team defense to do it.

Should be a pretty easy series for the coilers. Likely in 5.

I'll go with Oilers in 6.

I feel like the Kings were a better counter to the Oilers with all of their mobile D-men and two strong two way centers in Kopitar and Danault.

Vegas was kind of the opposite of Calgary this year in the respect that they had middling at best underlying advanced stats, but finished top 5 in PDO. 13 wins in OT/SO as well.

Something that tips in Vegas's favor is they were the least penalized team in the league in the regular season, and the best way to stop the Oilers PP is just to stay out of the box.

Goaltending could be a coin flip.

Whatever is bothering McDavid the Knights need to punch and kick it even more.

It's starting to feel like the unthinkable might happen. Stupid Kings

I didn't watch any of the series I can't watch Edmonton games I hate them so much but you blame goaltending on everything. You can win different ways Edmonton has a crappy duo in net as well LA should have been more dangerous.

The winning goal in game 2 wasn't pretty either. Overall he didn't play terrible that game but you can't be letting in bad goals tied in the third period in the playoffs.

If the Bruins and Avs were to both lose today, this thing feels totally wide open.

Which is a little scary.

I am willing to bet Dallas comes out of the west

Team is as good as anyone and their goaltending is miles better

Goaltending is the most important position in the sport

LA scored enough goals they would have won with some routine saves

He's not wrong though. Korpisalo wasn't good. At times he looked good but let in too many long unscreened shots that he should have been able to stop. The winning goal in game 2, the last two goals in game 4, the second and winning goal last night. I didn't see Pissy or Kostin's second goal last night so I can't comment on that.

Even Hrudey commented about him not looking good.

Korpisalo started letting out Markstrom sized and placed rebounds as the series progressed as well. He was definitely the second best goalie out there.
