I wonder if the Flames can get Hall for the deadline push after all?

He has got a few points but hasn't moved the needle in regards to team success. That's the way it's been most of his career really.

I think EDM's goaltending is much more inconsistent than CGY's. Guess we'll see.
Oilers, flames, and canucks have all ridden really great goal tending at times. Been a really weird year.

I don’t agree with the “pacific division is terrible” narrative. I think it’s just got more close teams and less bottom feeders.

Didn't someone recently make the comment that the 'Yotes were pretty much a lock for the playoffs? With things this close, the situation can change in sixty New York seconds.

While that is correct those teams have ridden hot goaltending at times, overall all three teams goaltenders are not even top 15 in most stats. It's crazy some of the stats some goaltenders have this season as the top 8 goaltenders are over .925 SV% which is crazy good. No surprise that Kuemper was one of those and without him the Coyotes have struggled.

Meh. It’s pretty terrible. All the teams are bad or horribly inconsistent.

It would be hilarious if the Coyotes fall apart, miss the playoffs, and then win the first overall pick in the Draft. Good thing they lottery protected it in the trade.

They're still talking about Kassian and Tkachuk in Edmonton (2nd period intermission interview with Principe and former Oiler Jason Chimera)

Wait a minute. A moment ago Derek Stepan scores for the totes. I look back at the game now and it is back to 6-2. WTF??

One thing about the Oilers the last couple of months is they're actually getting scoring from the bottom 6.
That usually doesn't happen.

No three-point game was the positive outcome here

I agree with you considering how he has scored hat tricks in consecutive games. It would not be a big surprise if Ovechkin gets to Phil Esposito, who scored 717 goals. https://records.nhl.com/records/skat...t-goals-career

That was quite the comeback the Capitals did on the Islanders. They were down 4-1 after forty minutes and then scored five goals in the third period.

Cagguila scored 21 seconds into the game and the Blackhawks lead 3-0 after twenty minutes!

The Habs also have a 3-0 lead heading into the first intermission. Kovalchuk has a goal.
