Ipod Service

So my Ipod died on me today, I believe they give you a 1 year warranty am I correct?
When I check online to the Apple service online request it states that I have run out of my warranty.

Check my thread a little further down for some contact info. I'm not sure if its on this forum or another but somebody said Apple by default sets the manufacture date if you fail to register it.

I posted the number to call in Ken's thread. If you don't get the response you were looking for, send an email to sjobs@apple.com. Doesn't get to Steve but it does get read and I've had some pretty high ups in Apple Canada call me as a result.

Apple is always been great to deal with when the could have just as easily said tough ish. I've really had bad luck with a lot of the Apple products I've bought recently but the always back them up even if they don't technically have to.
