Does anyone remember that heavy metal video show that looked like it was filmed in someone's basement? One guy wore a mask? There was a mom or something that was maybe the host, with a bunch of head bangers on a couch.
Though I thought it still ran when Stampede Wrestling was on/came back. This hockey was 1230 to 130, Stampede Wrestling 130 to 230 and Maple Leaf Wwf wrestling 230 to 330?
Pretty sure Stampede Wrestling was longer than one hour. How else could they fit the opening Mr Jito vs Biff Wellington match that went to a draw basically every episode? There were always several filler matches with Karachi Vice interrupting, either in the middle of the match or between. That would usually be the first hour, then the main eventers would start. Maybe an hour was longer back then?

I don't think I missed very many episodes.
No, it was only an hour. They very often edited the matches for length and frequently didn't show more than the opening few seconds of the main events because they were too violent for Saturday afternoon tv (and to help sell tickets to the live shows).

Is that corner store at 3:01 the corner store in Inglewood on 9th ave and 13st SE? Google Streetview only goes back to 2009 after they redid the exterior, but once I saw that image in the video, it brought me back to my junior high days where my school bus stop was outside that store.

Correct. It is the old Blyth Hall.

I am guessing it was on around '84?
It was an SNL skit turned into two feature length films.
