Flames trade Stone for Kapanen all day but no way Toronto touches that deal.

I think it is wishful thinking on my part to hope for Marner I think he is just too popular in that city to date move him. I just see such a fit there with the Leafs needing a right shot D and the Flames a right shot forward. Nylander is anwinger now but could be a centre. Marner played with Tkachuk as the best 2 players on an extremely dominant line I have a feeling Toronto will shy away from a blockbuster and trade picks/prospects for Tanev

Dat hype machine. Working OT.

Pts as of 185 NHL GP

Tarasenko 144
Tavares 142
Pastrnak 137
Nylander 135
Marchessault 135
Draisaitl 131
Kucherov 128
Giroux 128
Benn 128
Kuznetsov 126
Seguin 111

Also I think with Dubas in charge the Leafs stay far away from players like Stone. They already have Hainsey to do whatever it is he does.

Making a list that makes it look like Nylander is better than Benn, Kuznetsov and Kucherov is the kind of thing that I would identify as hype.

At this point in their careers, and definitely going forward, I would put Stone a step ahead of Hainsy, and would most definitely make the Leafs better.

If value is off, it's not off by much.

To be fair, there are stats that make it look like Monahan is superior to Macinnon, but I would qualify that the same way.

Nice pick guys/gals. Only 7 out of 373 voters picked Elias Lindholm.

Hopefully Tre isn't done yet.

One more top six forward hopefully. Preferably a right shot who can play C or RW just like Lindholm. Lots of depth that way.

My choice would be Nino Niederreiter. Have always been impressed with his game.

Yeah. Well done.
That Lindholm was included in the original list is even more remarkable

Thank-you. Always wanted Lindholm so that one was biased. But it honestly has made so much sense for a while now that he was the exact kind of player the Flames were going to target. Even a broken clock is right twice a day and I sure am ecstatic I was right today. So excited for Lindholm.

Now treliving just has to complete my crystal ball prediction and go snag Saad.

Hoping the Flames acquire a right shot RW who can swap with Lindholm on the top line when a shake up is needed.

Nino is my preferred target but if you can't get it done by July 1 pitch a bunch of money at jvr

Sign Perron. No need to weaken the depth. Would be great on the top line.

I know this is an heroic prediction by any stretch, but I believe there will be another addition, so more winners to come?

Nino, Neal, Perron, JVR
Frk too(although maybe not a legit top 6er)

are probably my choices. With Peters saying he might go with Tkachuk on the right we could have a top 6 of(one example with a player above)

Gaudreau - Monahan - Lindholm
Niederreiter - Backlund - Tkachuk

What would you trade that we can realistically afford to part with and would also be accepted by MIN?

He's probably worth a 1st+2nd imo

Might get him at a discount if the Flames agree to take on the last year of Ennis' contract. Apparently the new Wild GM is trying to move that salary out by attaching it to one of Coyle, Nino or Zucker.
