Nice pick by me lol - Kyrgios reminded me of the 2017-18 Flames, he just wasn't ready to play.

- every once in a while shows huge potential
- fails to show up for important moments
- poorly coached and/or not coached at all
- plagued by distractions away from the game
- often looks like he'd rather be doing something else
I guess the one difference is that at least Kyrgios could at times be considered "fun" to watch...

Yep. 9 double faults a few matches ago and another lackluster effort last night with 6 is starting to cost him. He's got to figure it out over the next few weeks or he is going to start to stall rankings wise. You can only afford that many doubles if you're firing double digit aces consistently and even then that's asking a lot.
On the other side, Coric really leaves a lot to be desired for how much they talk him up all the time. Guy doesn't seem to have any creativity whatsoever in his game and benefits from a lot of well placed, poorly hit balls.

Borna is slightly better than pure anti-tennis, but he's still a "no winners, no errors" type of player, which isn't terribly fun to watch. Unless he changes how he plays, he's destined to be one of those guys who hangs around the top 20-30 but never becomes a serious threat to the major powers.
Watch, now he'll wind up being a superstar in three years...

It's not really an upset that Isner beat Chung in straight sets today 6-1 6-4 as Isner is seeded higher, but based on form coming into this match, I would have put money on Chung winning today. Of course, I also picked Kyrgios to take out Zverev last night, so what do I know?
Of course, when he's in god servebot mode, he's tough to beat.

Milos and delPo are going to a third set. It's on TSN5.

I don't mind hearing "Olé, Olé, Olé". I actually welcome it. But, not against Canadians

Felt like a Davis Cup match in Buenos Aires - Oh well, this loss will sting a little, but Milos is certainly well on his way back to his 2016 level.

5-7, 7-6(1), 7-6(3). delPo moves on.
Good battle from Milos, but he didn't have enough left in the tank in that final tiebreak. Nice run for him in Miami, nonetheless.

Just got a text from a friend who is down there...said the fans were awful and they barely got out unscathed. A bunch of the Argentines starting throwing stuff at the Canadians fans .

The 'fans' were annoying.
Milos with some unforced errors that really hurt him. Easy finishing shots that he should have executed but just...didnt.
