Saying "torrent pace" makes you seem uneducated, not some visionary.

Do I really need to break out the "mind bottling" bit from Blades of Glory?

Then it should have been "a torrential pace"

Can't wait for Bouma to draw back in. Ferland and Bollig have both been disappointing in the grit department so far. We desperately need someone out there throwing his body around and making opposing d-men uncomfortable.

Uneducated or from Edmonton. Wait, that's redundant.

Responding to a general observation, with an insult, makes you a petulant child.

OK enough with the grammar talk and on to the ketchup / hot dog talk!

My 3 year old dipped her entire hot dog in peanut butter yesterday, is that a good omen or bad omen?

Riberio or Neal? Can't stand either of those weasel's.

Preds could easily be my second favourite team if it wasn't for those two

It's crazy to think that after the way the year started and all the pessimism slung around on this board, Calgary could wake up tomorrow 3rd in the division and holding a playoff spot.

Why are Edmonton and Vancouver both playing 2-3 games ahead of us and not taking any breaks to even out the GP?

The scheduling is dumb.

Crazy to think that a team on pace for 82 points could be in a playoff spot

That's not a successful season even with playoffs.

Don't get me wrong, playoffs is better than not, but in a league where more than half the teams get in, it's hardly am accomplishment in itself.

I still remember when the Seattle Seahawks made the dance with a losing record. I minded until kick-off of the first playoff game. The lesson I learned: It's what you do in the playoffs that make a season.
