Alexander Daigle figures he can come out of retirement and play on the Islanders top line

Rumour has it that the Habs are interested in bringing in a line mate that Mcdavid has had a lot of success with this season. This is a move that can also boost the Habs PK.

The Habs are also after another high end gritty winger, but that is unlikely to happen unless the GM is able to finally let go.

The last item on Montreal’s wish list is an upgrade on Leddy on the 2nd pairing. Depending on the player coming back the Habs could send a high end pick/prospect.

Lots of action at the Stars HQ for a Sunday. Multiple fax machines, capable of handling "big names" have been seen entering the building. Sale at Staples or something more?

Problems with the fax machine are causing issues in Dallas. 1 deal has made it through but rumor has it German parts may be mucking up further deals. Apparently Dallas is not willing to pay emergency repair rates to resolve the issue on a Sunday.

We will never know if Caps GM had too much to drink and accidently claimed Dryden Hunt instead of Danny Dekeyser. Caps GM has been on record to state that his new mission is to build a team of waiver claims.

Habs have engaged in talks with at least 6 teams. It is believed that they have given up on going all in for playoffs and are making moves with next season in mind. The playoffs are a bonus, and the team hopes to make it, but when you feel that you don't have a shot to win it all having two lottery picks is not a bad consolation prize.

The next 2 days will be interesting.

Serious consideration is being given to trading Jesper Fast and Lars Eller, the spiritual core of the Los Angeles Kings. News of Anze Kopitars injury hit the team hard at this point in the season, and trust in new #1 centre Alex Barre-Boulet is low.

Between the NHL and CPHL Habs the GM has had enough. Boredom and frustration has set in. Montreal will be looking to make trades tonight. See trade block for more information.

The Oilers are said to be giving this team less than a week to become consistent. They are not taking offers right now but could be one of the busier teams very soon. Been a very .500 team and all over the place

Terrified of a potential Shark matchup. Don’t blame you...

I actually had to look at the date because I know I’ve seen this same post at least 10 times. You gonna actually make some trades or just keep posting?

Step it up.

Isles and Habs are close to finalizing a six-player deal.

Looked at the date of this too and another post I’ve seen before. Shock the CPHL and make some trades. If you make one you may just break Pat’s record for single season trades made.

The Habs are rumored to send a boat load of picks and prospects as well as a top 6 C and top 4 D to secure the center ice and top pairing D spots.

Upper management would not stand still and allow the playoffs to slip away without doing all they can to make the final push to attempt to stave off the Canes and Cats.

Will the additions help or will the Habs be left on the outside looking in?
