It is 3-3 in the Oilers-Habs game late in the third period.

Habs sit a lot of players and use their third goalie. McStupid and his friends are all playing, including Smith. And they are tied. PP for the Oilers incoming.

I sure as hell hope that the Oilers don’t get gifted as many powerplay chances in the playoffs as they have been in the regular season. More than half that teams wins come on the back of their powerplay. Make them play 5 on 5 and they are well below average!!

I can't believe the Oilers let their two good players play today. One injury to either of them in a meaningless game and their playoffs chances go from bad to non-existent. Quite the high-risk, low-reward gamble.

The only thing that matters are McPoints. You should know that by now.

What do you suggest? Sit them for the remaining 2 games and then they don’t play a game for 10-12 days before playoffs?

Yes.

I'm guessing if either one of them gets hurt next game people will be asking why the heck they were playing in a meaningless game. That team is two players.......one of them gets hurt, goodnight.

But hey, go for it.

Like Toronto tonight right?

Or Washington yesterday?

Yah Boston sat everyone down, and I expect the oilers to as well on Saturday.

Draisaitl played 21:33. They didn’t just dress him - they worked him. They played their best D, Nurse, 24 minutes.

At least they sort of rested McDavid I guess.

The Knights and Avalanche have 4-0 leads in each of their respective games. The Blues lead 3-0. Could there be three shutouts on the OOT this evening? These games are midway through the second period.

Hope not in the VKG game though it’s not looking good. I’m in a dogfight in a pool and my rival has MAF. And I have Evander Kane. Of course, I also have ROR and he’s pointless in a 3-0 game.

If the west division games continue with the above teams going on to victory, the Knights will be first, Avalanche second, Wild third. The playoff picture will be finalized.

Colorado still has 1 more game tommorow, if they win that one they will be tied with Vegas and beat them in the tie breaker, so they can still win the division.

Minnesota will be third and St louis 4th provided Colorado wins tonight, which looks likely.

Ottawa looks like a fun young talented group. What a nice run for them to finish the season.

The mood in their room v our room must be light years apart.

So Sens, win these meaningless games and ruin your draft pick
