As was discussed in the other thread, if they let a guy who drove drunk and killed his teammate return to the NHL then I don't see why you can't let a guy who has a record of domestic assault.
The standard was set, they need to follow it. Unless they wanted to take a stand here then I would be all for it. But that might shoot them in the foot if a top elite player was caught in a similar case next week.

He had consumed alcohol but was not over the legal limit. Doesn't mean he was sober (or drunk) just within the law. Just because he was under the legal limit doesn't make it ok.
