Didn't they change the rules after Jennings and put a 5 game cap on winners? I could have sworn I read that.

No, the opposite. Prior to 2003 there was a 5-day champion limit that was removed.

5 games used to be a rule but that was changed about a decade ago.
If this new guy totally breaks the system or it becomes a problem I could see them bringing it back.

I think there is some luck involved too if he nailed every Daily Double and Final Jeopardy question. Surely, there must be topics or questions he has not mastered.

If Alex asked him about art, he'd probably give him the skinny on every art book ever written. Michelangelo, he know's a lot about him. Life’s work, political aspirations, him and the pope, sexual orientations, the whole works, right? But I’ll bet he can’t tell Alex what it smells like in the Sistine Chapel. He's never actually stood there and looked up at that beautiful ceiling; seen that. If Alex asks him about women, he'd probably give a syllabus about his personal favorites. He may have even been laid a few times. But he can’t tell Alex what it feels like to wake up next to a woman and feel truly happy.

Unless ratings drop during these long successful runs I don’t see changes being made.

So what you're saying is a married man with kids can't wake up next to his wife and be happy?
Spoken like a happily married man.

Despite playing fewer games than Jennings, Rutter has actually earned more money from "Jeopardy" — over $3,450,000 from all of his appearances. Rutter defeated Jennings in three tournaments and has never lost to a human, but did see defeat from IBM's Watson computer in 2011.

I knew when I knew Final Jeopardy that James would.
Won by $18.
Was totally pulling for Adam.

He has made more money on just Daily Doubles than any other player besides himself and Jennings have made in total in regular Jeopardy game play.

He gets more right than I do when I watch the 8 o'clock Jeopardy episode having already watched the same episode at 7 o'clock. It's just sad.

He explained to Alex on one show I saw that he prepared by reading children's books in the library. He said that was the most efficient way to learn all this information.

He was on MLB Network yesterday and said the same thing. They didn't believe him, but he swears it's true.

I watched an episode with my wife.
I said he sounded like a robot.
My wife thinks he is a viral marketing campaign for the new Men In Black movie.

He seems to have a really severe underbite with his bottom teeth in front of the top.
You can see it quite well in this photo at full size...
That's why it looks so weird.
