I heartily agree with everything you said Scorp, with one exception-I think he has a lot of work to do on his skating. Love his size and meanness though....

With the latest article on his pugilism, I hereby christen him as the legendary Martin the Warrior from the Redwall books.

Hopefully turning pro and working with our skating coach in Stockton (is it still Dawn Braid?) helps out there. He definitely has the skill to be a Maroon type of complementary scorer.

I think Dawn Braid was hired by the Coyotes? Either way, I agree-I think there's a player there.

Yeah, but even a few Oilers could crack the Sens lineup this year.

Yeah in terms of our pool of prospects chances of making the NHL id have him in the top 5. Just his ceiling isn’t as sexy as some of our more boom or bust prospects. Guys who grind it out like him always find a role.

9 pts in 11 games in the Slovak league-not exactly the top league in the world, but he’s still playing against men. He put up good numbers in his final season in the USHL as well. Seems to have some underrated offensive skills.....

It's nice to see that he's at least being put into a position in which he can improve on his offensive skills.
Playing against men + Actually getting ice team = A solid development opportunity.
And his grittiness raises his floor as a prospect. This isn't a guy who has to play in the top 9 in order to be effective.
