That was a nice head fake by Kessel. He sold the shot.

Need to go 12-2-1 now to make the playoffs, a .833 winning percentage which would be a 136 point pace over an entire season.

Was that miss from Johnny even close? Almost looked like it rolled off his stick and went like 3 feet wide.

I miss this team being deadly in OT

If the flames playoff hopes hinged on this game(which it didn't), one point while obviously not ideal shouldn't be the nail in the coffin.

The margin for error is still a small sliver.

Good effort but good effort isn't enough right now.

Someone get Jagr on the phone with Gaudreau to tell him he can win the scoring race again.

Tbh even we win tonight we are not going to get past the Oilers. Just a hole too deep by losing points in winnable games. Sell in the summer, get some finishers. Also, please send Bennett to AHL to improve his game.

Probably need 23 points in 15 games.

What a strange take on this game. Hamonic was great in his end all night.

An OTL doesn't really affect our playoff chances one way or the other. sportsclubstats has us going from 15.4 to 14.9.

Not scoring on that 2-0 hurts though. A second point would have been a big help.

When the Flames decide to lose, why do they do so with 3,4,5 games in a row? Whatever happened to 1 game, and then a comeback win?

Not the worst game though. They played pretty good.

Does Jagr even know his own name right now after that concussion? What is phone?

Gaudreau has to deke there or go for the extra flair and drop it to Monahan like he’s done before. You’re not a shooter, the deke at least gets a shot on goal and leaves the rebound opportunity for Monahan.

Then, Backlund with the tremendously lazy play by not stopping backdoor, instead conserving energy by circling the net.

Two uncharacteristically poor decisions and the Flames throw away another game. What a season.

Desperately needed the two points. One is better than nothing but this season is quickly approaching it's end.

Looks like Backlund tried to close the gap on Kessel as he didn’t realize Frolik was there. So he turned around and left Schultz to cover what he thought was an clear shot for Phil.

Loser point and I honestly can’t see the Flames making the playoffs still.

Disappearing act by the top line combined with shaky goaltending equals a recipe for disaster. Gaudreau with a brutal breakaway where he could have stepped up. Monahan is nowhere to be found when the team needs him.

On replay, he didn't miss by much.
