We get it you like Marek and hate anyone who would dare see the writing on the wall. He was a weasel and rightfully got fired. Then he made a BS statement of "I'm moving on"

He was too much of a coward to admit what he did and came out with a BS statement. Good riddance.
Lmao someone sounds insanely butt hurt about someone being as successful as Marek is.

Did he message your girl or something?

The next day, Marek addressed his departure on X, though he did not publicly share the reasons behind it. (Multiple sources said Marek signed a confidentiality agreement prior to exiting the company.)

Yet again, over the top for almost no reason

I read a poster joke pre draft to not folllow McKenzie on draft day because he spoils the picks, but interesting if he deleted it (or his 2021 tweets nailing picks really stuck with you and them.)
I thought he did it for 2 years, but it's possible he only did it that once. He hasn't done it the last few years, so I wouldn't be surprised if he got a call from the league asking him to not do it again.

Since he wasn't employed by a league broadcaster, they probably couldn't do anything more, whereas Marek being employed by the league's Canadian rights holder was a bigger deal and the league could exert some force.

That was his statement. He made it seem like he was the one moving on instead of what actually happened. He was fired.

Just because the headline of an article says he discussed his departure doesn't mean he actually did.

He said he is departing. He discussed it. Just because he didn't give reason or who initiated it doesn't mean he didn't say anything about it.

Likely because he couldn't due to whatever separation agreement he signed.

Well that was my point...he didn't admit to what he did.

Yes and I said that a week ago that he likely signed a confidentially agreement.

End of the day he signed it and then made it seem like he was moving on. He could have easily said something happened and because of a confidentially agreement I can't comment any further but instead made it seem like he was the one moving on.

Don't you understand? We have a rope and a tree lined up, and it is now vitally important that we lynch someone for something.

The people who keep responding go my posts. He's a weasel for not owning up to what he did. That's my opinion.

So you expect him to violate his confidentiality agreement just so he "owns up"?
Why would he do that? Just to satisfy you and other vengeful idiots who need their pound of flesh?

Confidentiality agreements are for wimps!

They have to agree to them because they aren’t confident!

It always blows my mind when people make statements like this when a government agency, that has powers to lay criminal charges, is reportedly involved. There’s a good chance the next time anyone hears from
marek is through his lawyer.

Whether what Marek did actually led to anyone’s gain, or whether we consider what reportedly happened a big deal or not, the Nevada gaming board takes potential gambling fraud a little bit seriously.

Did you have your head in the sand through the whole hockey Canada investigation?
