Took a quick look at the event and calculated that it took just 30 seconds from when Eriksen fell down to the medical staff reaching him. That was a pretty fantastic response time.

Feels crazy that this game is being restarted, but I guess that's what the players wanted

I would definitely prefer that, I'm of the type that much rather does something than sits around thinking about what happened.

yeah, i was a bit surprised as well...

that said, as the announcers mentioned, we can only assume that the news on Eriksen is good and as a result the players voted to continue

Sounds like Eriksen asked his teammates to resume the game. Makes sense.

That might be the most subdued celebration by a team scoring it first ever major tournament goal that we will ever see.

The call for the penalty was incredibly weak in the first place.

Isn't Lukaku offside when the ball comes? Or does the Russian touch negate it?

I mean if they had even attempted a pass I could maybe see not being offside, but that was pretty ridiculous to allow.

Finland beats Denmark 1 - 0.

No way to not feel a little weird about it, but I'd still rather take this result than a loss.

Cheryshev subbed on after 29 minutes and subbed off again after 62 minutes. That's got to sting.

Never forget when similar happened to Fabrice Muamba around 10 years ago at white hart lane

There was a season ticket holder for spurs who was a cardiologist in the crowd and a steward let him on the field to help and I believe it saved his life

Glad to see Eriksen is talking back at the hospital now, such a scary event, he just had his 2nd kid as well, health is all that matters

I was watching that game and remember when he got near the field to yell at the stewards:

"I'm a Cardiologist!!"

That was terrifying enough, this was crazy.

That image of Schmeichel hugging Eriksen's wife? Holy hell almighty.

I'm glad he's stable and okay, this is something nobody ever wants to see happen, huge props to the Medical Staff and his teammates for shielding him from the cameras.

The shots of the crowd were gut-wrenching. Danes and Finns alike just horrified and saddened. You could hear a pin drop in that stadium.

According to both Telegraph and The Athletic, Southgate is starting Trippier at LB as well as Sterling in the front 3 over Sancho and Grealish. Imagine what this team could do if they had a somewhat competent manager, holy cow.
