Could the Oilers do a deal with Seattle where they trade McDavid, and like 9 other players of the Oilers choosing for Seattle's first 10 expansion draft picks? Because that seems like the only way out of this unflushable turd spiral for them.
They could, but that would pretty much guarantee that Seattle would become the Oilers.
I took an off-grid camping trip this long weekend and am just re-integrating to society. What delicious news to come back to. I'm going to rinse the stink off of me and glue myself to the tv.
I hope the Oilers haven't rinsed the stink off of them! I haven't been able to watch any of the games yet so I don't know how they've gone but I'd like to see a one-sided Winnipeg affair tonight to shove Edmonton out of the playoffs, and do it in a manner that it's not mistaken for luck.

According to Oilers fans and media this series has been a one-sided affair of Edmonton dominance in which the Jets have benefitted from lucky goals and biased officiating.

Yeah the hosts were insisting postgame they've been the better team in all three. They're gonna be home golfing before they'll admit that they weren't actually deserving of taking the series.
I thought game one was a draw, with stretches for each side but both sides playing on the perimeter, and game two Winnipeg was the better team. The Oilers were decisively the "better" team for 52 minutes of the three games I'd say.
End of the day just another excuse/moral victory in the bucket of could've, would've and should'ves
