Actually, I had no idea they were individually packaged per gram. That’s super appalling.

I'd say things like packaging, larger quantity discounts, and price will all be worked on and adjusted over the next while.

Lots of room to improve and I'm sure they will, over time.

As of now though, its still quite a bit cheaper to go through a MOM, like half the price. ( I know it isn't legal though)

There are some that come in larger quantities. The issue is that, say you want two grams, your options are 1 or 3.5, so you order two x 1, and it literally comes in two packages.

I think the main issue is that it’s packaged before your order, so there is no option to get custom amounts (yet).

Anyone have any tips on avoiding the munchies or decent food to snack on?

I'm usually not TOO bad, but every once in a while I eat the door off the fridge. I've heard brushing your teeth helps, but what fun is that? I'd rather eat candy.

I've been eating bags of snow peas, Fresca's, Smart Sweets (low sugar gummies) and fruit. Sometimes toast and peanut butter, or PBJ sammies. Popcorn and butter, or sometimes caffeine free tea.

What's your healthy go to?

Water. I try to trick myself by filling up on water. The problem is sometimes that just leads me back to chips, crackers, or whatever. But water does tend to help get rid of that hungry feeling, or at least weaken it.

Look for strains that are high in THCv (slightly different from THC), THCv is actually an appetite depressant. It can be isolated as it vaporizes at higher temperatures (428 degF) than CBD (356 degF) and THC (315 degF).

Anecdotal, so take it for what it’s worth. But sweet things seem to trigger a response where a sober me would say “enough”, but impaired me doesn’t; all those things you listed trigger me to want to eat more.
Tacopuck is spot on...I once consumed some without knowing its affects before hand. I literally ordered the most expensive meal of my life and couldn’t even stand to have more than a couple bites.

The Co-op store opened yesterday: https://calgaryherald.com/cannabis/c...-into-cannabis

The story also mentions that another store has opened at 1717 10 Ave SW, just south of the Sunalta C-Train station. That means that now only 75% of the stores in Calgary are within 2.5km of each other along Macleod Trail.

I saw a 420 "premium" sign going up at that mall where the point and feather is in oakridge on 90th ave ) across from Glenmore. Is premium an upscale version of the 420 in southland or same store?

I think the full name is 420 Premium Cannabis.

Good. The sooner it drops that stigma, the faster Grandma discovers that her arthritis/migraine/insert ailment feels better. And if I want to have a bit of fun, I'm no longer a criminal, not that the cops enforced it anyway, but win/win nonetheless.

It’s funny how in all the years I’ve lived in my building, with the smell of pot being a regular thing, it’s only recently that the 70 year old woman on our condo board got a bug up her ass about it. I actually like her, and she’s normally reasonable, but people of a certain age definitely don’t like change.
