Car accident for sure. Questionnis how that accident occurred.

I think....maybe it was a drunk driving thing.

Issa López will stay on as showrunner for season 5.

Following the release of season 4, Pizzolatto made his disapproval known as he took to Instagram to call a part of the show "so stupid" and reinforced that "I certainly did not have any input on this story or anything else. Can't blame me."

Did the critics get a different version than us? I don't understand how they can praise it so much.

The ten minute span where Danvers used the F word about 75 times, culminating in her telling the audio device, as she ripped it from the wall, to shut the #### up almost redeemed the entire series for me. Gave me the feeling that it wasn't 6 hours entirely wasted.

If that's what is has come down to now - that anything that includes female leads, LGBQT+, indigenous peoples and corporations as evil killers - automatically is 9/10 we are in more trouble (maybe) than the 'not my Ariel' type review bombing. Oof

Better get out the broom, because it's a mess.

It wasn't great, it was ok. The progression of plot was not satisfying at all. Felt like there were a couple stagnant episodes, which can't happen in a six episode season.

I liked the setting and tone, and the acting was fine.

Just finished this. What an awful killer reveal, just truly bad.

The pollution angle advancing life changing DNA research? LOL
The behavior of the scientists made zero sense whatsoever.

The acting was exceptional, the mood and setting made it worth watching. But take away Jodie Foster, and this is totally forgettable.

I never did watch Season 3 so going to fire it up starting this weekend.

Season 3 was really solid IMO, and arguably the closest in quality to S1. I think you'll enjoy it.

Season 3 was essentially a remake of season 1: odd couple detectives, timeline jumps, occult overtones, themes of struggling with the mind. Even the dialogue in the car rides felt the same. It was a bit less sinister, but it delivered.

Night Country was massively disappointing. I'm not sure if they can go back to the well and pull up another pail of poison. They've hit 2 of 4, and that's really only because they told the same story in a different way.

I watched each season and thought Night Country was great, I really enjoyed it. They took a swing, its not easy to do that these days, and for the most part I thought they pulled off the atmosphere pretty well.
