Nope, NE Calgary. We made the trip especially for this game, as it's one of the few remaining that work with our work schedule.

We're going to be viewing a home tomorrow in Seton and if the inside is as good as hope we'll be making an offer. God I'm nervous!

They definitely put subjects such as:

-an inspection report satisfactory to the purchaser
-financing with an APR of less than 5.25%
-purchase is able to get house insurance
-sale a subject to purchaser being able to sell their own house
-etc

Many accepted offers do not close for a variety of reasons. If a purchaser properly writes in conditions, they can walk away with their deposit for a number of reasons. The seller should be aware of all of these before accepting the offer. During the height of the real estate market in vancouver sellers were only accepting offers without subjects. People were bringing their inspectors to open houses.

Why can’t it be a flakey excuse? It’s a huge commitment.

No one is putting an offer in unless they are seriously interested. No one is going around, making offers, and backing out for fun. Worrying about it is a non-issue. Sucks when a buyer backs out, but just move on.

I don't want to post the address only cuz if we do move there I think it's weird for everyone here to know where I live. I don't need MMF showing at up my door #### talking to me in front of my family.

Or Textcritic leaving behind some ancient artifact with "Jets suck" written in blood on it.

Yeah we definitely don’t need to be posting addresses and guessing where you are going to live. Thats stupid #### people.

Good luck with the hunt.

Common sense finally prevails! If only the cities can follow suit.

New rules for construction zones on Alberta highways require contractors to cover speed reduction signs when there aren't any workers on site and if there aren't any safety hazards.

When workers and hazards aren't present, speeding fines and demerits won't be doubled, Transportation Minister Brian Mason announced Tuesday.

Fines will continue to be doubled when construction workers are on site, Mason said.

"There's confusion now because you've got these speed zones that are being enforced and there's no construction happening on Sundays, for example," Mason said at a news conference in Edmonton.

I was just going to post that article. I drive down 22x past Red Deer Lake school where the limit has been 70 for two years now and they haven't moved a blade of grass the whole time. Whenever I see a speed trap there I want to stop and yell at the cop.

They should do the same in Calgary. The number of times I’ve seen “Right lane closed” or a speed reduction when all lanes are open and/or no workers are present is insane. So so stupid.
