Kovalev as a Panther probably makes the most sense as he played 14 games for them but to me it's actually the Senators that I forget about.



He did play almost two seasons with them, so it wasn't a short stint, but I was reminded recently and I had no recollection.

Svatos, McElhinney and David Hale were also alumni's of 2010-2011 Senators team that people probably forget or never even knew. Could count Derek Smith too but outside of Calgary I'm not sure anyone remembers he existed at all.

Pretty much anyone who has played for the Panthers except Luongo, Jokinen, Bouwmeester, Ekblad, and Vanbiesbrouck.

Every time the Flames play the Panthers, it seems I spend all game going, "Oh, he's still in the league? I thought he retired 5 years ago."


The Coyotes are similar but the Flames play them more often, so they're slightly easier to remember.

I attended a youth hockey camp a few summers in a row, and he was one of the on ice guys. Always looks like this. Never smiled once. I don’t know if he’s actually that miserable or if he has resting “Taylor Hall hit me with water droplets” face.
