A better scenario is they beat Chicago in 5 in overtime by an accidental goal off of James Neal's face. Chicago wins the lottery, and then the Oilers get absolutely spanked and swept in the first round.

To be fair this might not be a design flaw, it may just be that we’re getting a rare glimpse into the summer demon cleansing that Rogers Place inflicts upon itself in order to stay standing through an entire Oiler’s season.
