For the money he's making the Flames should probably move on from Zadorov in the offseason.
Well I might question the Athletic statistics as Gudbranson kills penalties all the time on the top pairing, so his elite matchups may be off a little.

It feels like Brad's work this summer is coming up Millhouse.

Z's recent performance has been great. I wonder what it means to Michael Stone. Why he couldn't crack into the bottom pair?

Yeah…contrary to prior coaches, the third pairing is no longer a rotating door. I think it’s been a huge help to the current pairing and part of their progress over the season…but I wonder what kind of shape Stone is in to step in and play in relief. I imagine if there’s a longer term injury, it may actually be Valimaki coming in

Every once in a while a player has a career revival after he's moved to a new team. We know this as Flames fans with Sam Bennett.

Zads is exceeding my wildest expectations. I thought he'd be in-and-out of the lineup, yet here is being a critical piece of the success the Flames are having.

Frankly I feel like everyone is pulling their weight except Dube. I hope we can trade him before other teams catch on.

I haven't seen a d pair inflict this much damage and pain to the opposition since Ramage and Macoun .
It's nice knowing when these guys play anything rough can be handled .

Pitlick was a trade not a signing. I see it all the time on this forum, so i will say it twice. Pitlick was aquired via trade not free agency.

If he is not going to be dressing during this upcoming home stretch, might not be a bad idea to send him down for a conditioning stint to Stockton. It is concerning that if we run into injuries on the back end a very cold Stone is one of our options. I’d expect Mackey or Valimaki to dress over him, in such a situation.

Not against a conditioning stint, but Stone has proven over the years that he somehow can come in pretty cold and not look out of place or hurt the team.

I miss seeing Stone....he's been steady for us and dependable when called on.
He's also done everything he's been asked to do.

On a side note ....man was Kylingon pumped after scoring that goal and I was pretty damn happy to see it....this kid has sure grown up ....now he is kicking some serious butt.

Stone’s a family man and his wife is from Calgary. He’s pretty specifically chosen here to settle. I do t think he would want a conditioning stint in Stockton. He will have a game of rust if called on but that’s not a huge deal.

Stone didn't strike me as being thrilled during his time with the Heat last year.

Doesn’t the player have to agree to it, if he is put on a conditioning stint?

Any word on whether the league is going to look at that hit? The radio guys thought it might get a suspension.

There better be no review. Zadorov would be getting suspended for being tall. Clean hit as they come.

Zadz will be an all star in 2 years. Sutter is going to turn him into a Chara-lite.

You heard it here first.

Kase is back on the ice for Leafs practice today. Good for him considering all his concussion issues.

It wasn't a conditioning stint. He cleared waivers and was sent down (although, with the Heat playing in Calgary last year, he didn't have to go anywhere).
