I am not sure if they sell those at Costco, but you could go for the $25 off deal with the Masterpass if they do.

I'm looking to buy a new TV 65-75" in size, with a budget of $2500.

I'm not sure what the difference between 4K, UHD, OLED is, but I think OLED is out of my price range from what I've seen.

What are the major cons to an entry level 4K TV?

Seems like Vizio has been pretty popular, but I don't know much about this brand. I've only ever bought Samsung/LG in the past.

Wal-Mart has a 32" RCA TV with built-in Roku for $168. Is that worth it for a garage TV? Or is RCA just total garbage these days? I'm just thinking about something for youtube videos and general background while I work on projects throughout the winter.

I have a fleet of RCA TVs now for various locations such as you describe. Garage, trailer, and spare bedroom. They are all around 4 years old and have been fine. Nothing that is going to wow you, but good enough for their purposes. My biggest issue is the remote frequencies they use- I can't get any of my Bell remotes to work on those TVs. So I have to keep two remotes handy.

What would be a good audio system to look out for, one that would play CD's, and has good sound quality?

I bought the 55" 4k last year and it does TV things just fine. No experience with the ROKU though

A new 4K tv has pushed me to a new receiver, which has pushed me to Dolby Atmos, which has got me into new (additional speakers).

I think the stuff I am looking at is totally different that your search though.

Americans should really pick up Boxing Day. 2 major shopping events in a month is great for retailers.

so, anyone know if any of the big carriers in Canada will be offering any good deals on phone subsidies?

I have a pretty decent shareplan with the wife (10GB + 1GB bonus, <$150 for both lines). She needs a new phone but i don't want to a) change my monthly cost by more than $10 or so, and b) don't want to put in a downpayment of more than $200 on the phone...

If i can get a decent deal on an Iphone 6 or 7 that meets the above parameters, i'll bite.

Is black friday sales for new mobile phone offers better than xmas/boxing day sales?

that's the same with the Shaw remotes.
To make matters worse, we have a couple of different models and some of the RCA remotes have the channel up/down, and volume up/down switched from the right hand side or left hand side of remote. So, I keep pressing channel when I think it is volume on one and then I have to, dick around with the source.

In the ~$500 range, B&H has a good deal on the Elac UB5:

Sportschek has all their remaining stock of Reebox jersies (no lettering or numbers) on sale for $69 and that includes all NHL teams.

In everyone's experience, is it better to buy a big-screen TV on Black Friday, or on Boxing Day?
