Jays doing that thing where they literally cannot hit a baseball in the first half of the game.

Not sure bringing Biggio up to make his debut against a guy who feasts on lefties was the smartest move, but it's cool to see another of the kids making it.

Hudson get a groundball back to the mound but instead of starting an inning ending double play he tosses it into CF. Next batter smashes a 3 run homer.

####ing idiot

Out of the Jays last 112 ABs as a team they have drawn 4 walks. Just awful discipline at the plate. Growing pains are painful for a reason I guess.

It’s terrible. And plate discipline is what you could argue was the downfall of the offense after the monster 2015 season. I was cautiously optimistic after Brooks Jacoby was let go that plate discipline would be a teaching point. But with absolutely no vets on the roster to show the ropes it’ll be hard for the kids to pick up on the ins and outs of a big league at bat. One of the things I’m most frustrated about this season is how Atkins shipped out everyone with offensive leadership(no offense Smoak, but you don’t say much). Keeping Morales for the Latin players and bringing in someone like Granderson would have been hugely beneficial for development. But hey, they have 600 utility infielders to choose from...

I imagine Alford will probably be called up soon.

He's not hitting very good down there, but neither was Gurriel and he got called back up.

lol

Pannone has recorded two outs so far, given up 3 hits, walked 2 and hit a batter forcing 3 runs in.

Hard to believe that there are actually 4 teams worse than this Jays team in the league right now lol

Vladdy 2/3 with a 2B
Gurriel 3/3 with a 2B and a HR
Biggio 3/3 with a HR

Kids are hitting today, except for Danny Jansen.

Apparently Gurriel does not want to go back to the minors. Hitting very well since his call up.

Can Sogard or Biggio play shortstop? Galvis has been pretty ineffective at the plate lately.

Always love seeing the kids do some damage.

Stroman felt nauseous and dizzy on the mound...must have been a late night celebrating with the Raptors.

What was that?

Bad news bears.

I saw Choi slide into home. He hit the ball.
