I wonder if it's one of those things where Boeser had a little bit of a disappointing year, so they are nitpicking his faults

Why is all this getting out? Minny must have a big leak in the front office

Unless he requested a trade, they aren't.

Its silly season though.....so get used to lots of doozies.

My guess is that this is Fenton attempting to take advantage of a General Manager who sucks at his job in Vancouver. Were I ever in a deal with Dim Jim Benning I would be seeing my terms in the realm of incredulity as well.

Couldn't this be more of a situation that Van calls and asks about Zucker, Minny asks for boeser, and he really isn't even available, but was asked for (hence the laughed and hung up comment in the tweet).

I wish this Zucker talk would die down..

IMO Calgary has no need for a player like him: top 9 lefthanded winger.

We have Gaudreau, Tkachuk, Bennett, Mangiapane, Dube, Frolik and Neal.

Even swapping one for one seems lateral to me and Bennett should not even be in this discussion at all because I don't think we should trade him.

WE NEED RIGHTHANDED GUYS NOT MIDDLING LEFTIES.

Unless we want our entire top 9 winger group to be lefthanded, assuming Lindholm moved to center, I just don't understand this.

Gaudreau-Monahan-Zucker
Tkachuk
-Lindholm-Bennett
Mangiapane-Backlund-Neal
Dube
-Ryan-Hathaway

Too one dimensional with all these left shots.

I’m sure Kessel would veto the trade, but I’d be much more interested in him for 3 years $6.8M than Zucker for 4 at $5.5M

Right shot RWer would be great on line 1 or 2

Doubt they are shopping him, it's probably just Minnesota seeing if there is any chance at all of bringing in a local boy.

Why? Did he nix because of location or because of the teams current competitive situation? We don't know why and therefore can't say with certainty if he would or wouldn't waive to come to Calgary.

I'd be all for it if we went back to Frolik and a first. I've been hard on Bennett but if there's a trade you make with him involved, this isn't it

Zucker is a cap dump and so far from what the Flames need.

Even in the OP, the tweet with the "/" would suggest that it's or. At least that's what it usually suggests.

IMO only way Flames go for zucker is if bennett is not part of the deal butthr flames are ready to move on from bennett and use him in a deal for the right side.

Add? Minnesota likely doesn't have anything or even any package that would make Vancouver part with Boeser.

Why are wild shopping him? Seems like a player they need and on fair contract.

Attitude issues?

From what I've seen insiders saying (Friedman, Dreger etc.) it seems like Fenton is trying to put his fingerprints on this team, and revamp the existing core. He has done this by trading 3 of their core pieces for the past 5 seasons in Granlund, Coyle, and Niederreiter.
