Trent needs to be yanked solely on his effort on that third goal.
He's a big problem on that team.

No surprise, 4-0 now lol. I don't think there's even a slight chance the fans turn on Klopp, but I expect them to start going after FSG.

yeah that whole "defending" was a joke there, but the way he gives up is indefensible.

Considering how devoid of creativity Liverpool are in midfield maybe they should try Trent there. He's always been, at best, a neutral defensively for them, but he's been abysmal for a while now.

The real question is what has happened to VVD this offseason.

A couple of times this season now where he's just kind of standing in the crossing lane, doesn't cover the guy behind him, doesn't cover the cross.

Don't recall seeing that from him at all before.

Griezmann with the late winner. It's pretty incredible what Atletico are doing with him ... he's on loan from Barcelona, and there's a clause in there that Atletico have to sign him permanently for £35m if he plays 30+ minutes in a certain number of games. So how much have Atletico played him this season? Glad you ask. 29 minutes against Getafe, 29 minutes against Villareal, 27 minutes against Valencia, 28 minutes against Sociedad and today, of course, 29 minutes against Porto.

How that was a penalty with some that have been waived off as penalties lately is just perplexing. Isn't this the exact situation they rectified?

Basically, yes. It's below the Europa and teams from the Europa will drop down there after the round-robin as well.

Barca not feeling the love.

Quote:
Barcelona plan to file a lawsuit demanding Atletico Madrid pay them €40 million for Antoine Griezmann.

Griezmann, 31, rejoined Atletico on a two-year loan in 2021 and the two clubs are in dispute over a clause which would see the deal made permanent.

Sources close to the Catalan club have told ESPN that Barca believe the fact Griezmann played over 45 minutes in 30 of the 37 games he was available for last season means Atletico are now obliged to sign him for €40m.

Atletico, meanwhile, claim Griezmann must play over 45 minutes in 50% of the games he is selectable for over two seasons, not just one, for the clause to take effect.

Marco Rose indeed took over at Leipzig, and his first game in charge was today ... against his former team, Dortmund. Got a 3-0 win, not bad.

sky's probably falling at Bayern (prematurely obviously), after 3 straight draws. Surprising though.

Relieved that Liverpool dug out that win.

If nothing else, Dinamo getting peppered by Milan is good for Livakovic's World Cup warm up.

Cheeky pass from Petkovic on the Dinamo goal. Nice. Orsic continues to fill the net in all competitions.
