It's hard to keep up personnel merry-go-round that's led to a lot of roster turnover but as always the teams with the best QB situations usually rise to the top.

No predictions, I just hope for a season of good quality football and hopefully some renewed interest going forward.
It will be interesting to see if Winnipeg can continue at the top of the league, and whether Chris Jones can work some miracles in Edmonton. Calgary should be in the middle of the pack or better, hopefully Bo has a better season and/or Maier is able to establish himself as a CFL QB1. Having guys like Begelton and Roberson for the full season should help.

So just wanted to say that Stampeder legend and CFL hall of famer Tony Pajaczkowski passed away a couple days ago at age 86. Ive been at the lake and just found out this morning.
Truly one of the best O linemen this league ever saw.
RIP big man....really good dude.

Canadian defensive back Elie Bouka will not make his debut for the Calgary Stampeders on Friday night, according to the team’s injury report.
Calgary has also ruled out defensive lineman Marcelis Branch (hip), linebacker Josiah Schakel (back) and punter Cody Grace (groin). Veteran defensive back Branden Dozier is listed as doubtful with a calf injury, while receiver Jalen Philpot — the club’s first-round pick in the 2022 CFL Draft — is listed as doubtful due to a hamstring injury.

Yikes. That's a lot of injuries coming out of training camp.

Talk out of training camp is that Bo's shoulder is (actually) healthy, and that he could be poised to have a bounce-back year. I'll believe it when I see it but hopefully that's a good sign as there are a lot of question marks across the league IMO at the most important position.

I'm thinking (hoping) that DD will have a shorter leash with Bo this year as he sees that he has a more than capable backup in Jake Maier. The strength of this team remains the defense though and should be able to keep the Stamps in the majority of games this season.

Dozier has been placed on the 6 game injured list - Doesn't necessarily mean he'll be out that long, but still is not good news. Depth chart is below:

Point of clarification - the game against Montreal is Thursday night, so no one will be making any debuts for them on Friday.

Quick question, has anyone brought food into McMahon? I know the official policy says that you can but I seem to see people bring in bags or containers of food all the time at the entrance. Do they just turn a blind eye to this? I have never brought outside food into McMahon but have some dietary restriction for the next little while where I can really eat anything they have to offer. Just curious if anyone lese has brought food in and if it was a hassle or not?

Thanks, I realize this. But I see people bringing in food all the time. I'm just wondering if they tend to turn a blind eye to it or not. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had any experience with bringing food in?

When I take my daughter we usually bring some snacks and her water bottle. They check our backpack at the gate and we've never had any issues. Don't know if it's because she's a kid but they normally just take a quick glance before waving you through (I'm guessing they're mostly looking for alcohol).
So I wouldn't be concerned about packing a water bottle (if you're really concerned you can bring an empty one and fill it at the stadium) and some small snacks; anything you can fit in your jacket pocket won't even be checked so there is that option too.
