I think polar bears have webbed feet, too, so they're very comfortable in the water.

It's a real shame we don't have them at the zoo anymore.

They’re building a new polar bear habitat.

This is (more or less) how a lot of salmon die.

Is there no property tax account portal with the City of Calgary? I assumed there would be a portal where a home owner could register and account and access their property tax info but that doesn't seem to exist. The only thing that I can find is a form to fill out which will request previous bills and they can either email or mail those out to me. That seems really old school and inefficient.

But at this point we were discussing bears and swimming.

When servers at restaurants ask "sooooooo any plans for tonight?" when you're paying the bill.

I was in Europe last month. The servers would just say "bye". It was great. Give me that every single time please.

They never know quite what to do when my wife or I reply "this is our plans"

My favourite servers were the ones on Islay. Instead of saying "your welcome" or "ok" to a thank you or request, they just say straight faced "that's fine" in a Scotish accent.

The problem in Europe is that you're just as likely to have the waiter come by only every 2 hours, as he's too busy chain-smoking out on the street.

The Winnipeg Zoo has an amazing polar bear exhibit. Ample room for them to roam and very natural feeling. Hopefully that's what the Calgary Zoo is planning.

Now you should be fairly assessing that against Nixon running parks, the plagiarized education curriculum and other general stupidity and the answer is quite simple on who will do better going forward. But the light bulb program and canceling the PPAs were significant mistakes that they should be judged harshly for

Hillary emails is Hillary hiring a company which improperly kept information. It’s not an analogous situation

I believe it is built to replicate the Churchill dump.
