Verstappens going to have a heroic drive tomorrow to win the WDC. RBR were smart scrubbing his q3 laps.

I think he scrubbed his own 2nd last Q3 lap by losing it a bit sector 3, and then deciding to do another flyer that the team hadn’t fueled him for. Too bad, he was on a cracking pace on that final lap.

Oh man. Looks like my second miss. Hopefully my lineup from the last time do something. Can’t miss another week.

You guys who didn’t vote max first can all thank me, first time on forever I’ve finally given up on leclerc to win one and then red bull pulls this off on a Monaco like track.

Fear not. Ferrari will find a way.

Pretty sure the team told him to back off and increase gap to Gasly. Which is somewhat understandable on a rapidly improving track...but actually just kinda dumb with the risk of a yellow/red flag on a track where turbulent air and perfectly charged batteries don't matter that much

Well that's a nice W for Perez. Verstappen no champ today. It's not a matter of if, but when.

I find Singapore the worst of all the F1 stops. Too tight, too sharp of corners. Straights suck. That's just me though and my preference. One of my favorites is China. That turn 2 to 5 sequence is beautiful.

I actually enjoyed that more than I thought I would.

Some more silly race control and stewarding. I especially enjoyed 'track clear' graphic as the marshals were struggling to extract that front wing.

Yeah the only issue today was the FIA being wildly inconsistent and completely incompetent (surprise, surprise). They start the race as scheduled, or even with only a 30 min delay, and we get the full transition from wets to inters to slicks and see some proper strategy.

The FIA just sucks so, so much.

Not just the rain but the penalties. No penalty for Russell for crashing into mick, investigating Checo after the race despite him having three!!! safety car infractions during separate SC deployments. How the #### do you not have time to investigate during the race? He was even warned and kept doing it!

That SC regulation is kind of a funny one...it exists for a good procedural reasons, but there aren't really safety or competition implications from violating it (at least in the relatively minor way that Perez did). I'm not sure it should warrant a competitive penalty at all (maybe just fines+license points). It's more akin to the piercing rules IMO

Imagine if this was on a dry track.

Hah. I went with what the betting lines were and I somehow got 3 right from that mess.

Too bad that was not overly exciting for most of it. I like night racing. Needed more rain…they should have a bumper car chassis they can pop on over top for wet races. That would make it fun!

Needed less rain... I was drenched for the whole night. Fun though!

Woah...despite that being a very boring race IMO there is ALOT of changes in the standings for the CalPuck Championship.

FleuryisGod takes top spot this week by 8/10 - top 10 and 3 slots...his faith in Ricciardo pays off! 3 way tie with FurnaceFace, RyanCoke, TimSJ for 2nd 1pt behind FleuryisGod.

The BIG change though is woob slipping out of top spot for the first time this year! FurnaceFace clawed back 12pts this week and now sits 7pts clear of woob.

Agulati - that was your second missed week...no more.

Spoiler!
