I wasn't aware of this performance until last week and I've been obsessed with since then. It's sometimes hard to remember that with all the baggage and underneath the obvious appearance changes that Michael Jackson was a black soul singer. Here he performs a bit of The Way You Make Me Feel, followed by Man in the Mirror. If you don't want to watch it all, you can skip to the 5 min mark where he's joined by backing singers and then a gospel choir. The last few minutes of this give goosebumps, and I wish he'd explored more gospel vibes in his music at some point. (The only other songs that leaned that way were Keep The Faith and Will You Be There from the Dangerous album)
