CSEC is a #### organization and they truly care about nothing more than money, which I hope they lose a lot of. They have ran the Stampeders into the ground since they bought them in terms of sagging attendance, overpricing cheap seats, and a stale game day experience. Their inflexibility in regards to cashless concessions and paperless tickets at their venues have also pissed a few people off. Why are the upper corner seats at McMahon (which is a dump) $35 not including fees?
This new move in regards to the Hitmen and Roughnecks just solidifies their tone-deaf approach to business. Let's force people to purchase a more expensive ticket and sit in an area they may not prefer just so we can increase "atmosphere". In my opinion, 13000 Roughneck fans scattered all over the dome is a much better atmosphere than 9000 fans filling the lower bowl. It's a cash grab pure and simple. In a world still recovering from covid and a recession, let's do everything we can to alienate and turn away fans rather than trying to bring new ones in. God I hate our ownership group.
