Ha! Iggy tied with Malkin for 2nd highest in the league. 1pt behind Crosby and 1pt ahead of Ovechkin.

Pretty cool video from the developers:
http://www.easports.com/blogs/nhl/in...-demo-feedback
Interesting to see how much work they've been able to do based on demo feedback via twitter and message boards. Looks like the tape to tape passing is one thing of many that might get a tweak in the first update. It's impressive to see a dev team being so interactive with the community.

I don't think that Luongo is 4 pts better than Kipper, maybe 1 or 2, and Lundqvist I'd say should have a higher rating based on the past 2 years (I still think Kipper is the best in the league though).

Backlund should be in the game, at least at the ahl level, since he played a game for the Flames last year making him an official member of the NHLPA.

every year is the same guys... the game is released with FA, and other players not correctly entered, the game is released before that is all settled, and an update always fixed it up right away, and an update at the first day that every team has played (real rosters for every team that way)

Started some Be A GM today. You havew the option to start at NHL Entry Draft (do prospect game first) and do the whole off season, or start on October 1st.
I guess the mode so far has much more depth then 09. You have to play under the rules of the CBA, and the game does have authentic contracts. (Dion, Iggy, ect. are correct length and salary) The trading block and rumors is cool since it gives you an idea of whats out there.
Lets put it this way, I didn't even bother with Dynasty Mode last year at all. This year, I may be into it a bit. The primary reason I'm not into these too big is because I like to play my games and I end up owning the CPU in pretty much any game. So far, I'm not destorying them on All Star level.

IGN posted some videos from EASHL games.

Boardplay changes things quite a bit online! We really have to think about positioning now!

So I tried some OTP/EASHL:
- Honda ads are everywhere.
- Apprantly the minimum for games now is 3 players a team.
- After doing a game, normal style of play probably would be better route to go then hardcore passing. It's difficult enough to connect passes with players since the aiming is loose enough.
- Open ice hits are going to be tougher since checking is manual.
- Positioning is key. Oh boy if your team is doing bad positioning against a team that knows how to do good positioning, your gonna have a long game.
- Slot cross crease passes aren't going to be easy to pull off. With the D AI of breaking up passes along with pass aim being harder a bit, the effect of that being successful is going to drop.
- Report card shows up each period. So you know if you have to step up aspects of your game.
- Couldn't test voice chat all that much since players on my team didn't feel like talking much. So don't know much about quality so far.
