Really liked Sutters comments about Sean, the guy gave his body and heart to the team. He took a lot of heat at times, but you never saw it in his body language or how he dealt with Eric Francis.

I still remember the 2013 draft and so excited when we drafted him, a center and one who cares about winning faceoffs. The guy gave us a light at the end of the tunnel to look forward to after Iginla left.

Just a good guy overall, and glad he is doing well. I remember meeting him at rookie camp his first year at Winsport.

I wouldn't be upset if he scored a goal in a 9-1 Calgary win tonight.

They suck at it so much. It's something the fans want to see not Cabbies betting odds on the next faceoff.

What fans want don't pay the bills

Cabbies betting odds do

Are tributes like that ever shown on a broadcast? Obviously, pre-game ones are- but these first commercial break tributes tend to happen, you know, during a commercial break. Not sure why TV audience would see them

No, typically you get a quick recap of what happened after the commercial break.

Still stings seeing Sean gone. The guy put his body first without fear in every situation. An amazing sacrifice.

Every coach said the same things about Sean....warrior, coach able, a gentleman and captain material.

Please give him a standing ovation tonite , respect he deserves . I'm so happy to hear and see he's healthy.

It's funny but he and Tanev are leaders ....not much to say but wow when it matters you want these guys .

Huge love for Sean....sorry Sean ....we're gonna have to take those 2 points though.

Bought tickets to the game strictly to give Mony the ovation he deserves tonight. I'm expecting to see some tears roll down his face after seeing that press conference clip.

It's pretty funny listening to the Montreal media fishing for complements from Darryl in the presser

You would think they were a first place team or something...wow you guys are .500 OMG Marty for coach of the year

Former teammates reflect on Monahan's time in Calgary: Stajan, Bouma, Brodie, Gio. Conroy as well.

It will probably be the same people that wear white jerseys to playoff games.

Hope fans give monahan a ton of love tonight.

I wish vladar was given one more game. Just go with who's playing well at this point.
