Many years ago I was at a Tony Robbins life mastery seminar in Maui. This guy in my group wanted to go to Planet Hollywood in Lahaina. So I drove myself, this friend of mine (female) who had a crush on this guy and his buddy. We go to Planet Hollywood and the guy gets all this attention, they take his picture and we all get a free meal. I'm like, "Who the #### are you?". He replied, "Ever watch Walker Texas Ranger?" I hadn't, but I was buddies with Clarence for 11 days in Maui. My female friend kept in touch with him for quite a while afterwards. He seemed like a good dude.

If he said "ever watch Die Hard?", you would have instantly knew who he was.

I think this Christine McVie song is the essence of Fleetwood Mac. Not my favourite, but the quintessential FM song. Beautiful, highly-polished pop. What makes it signature for me is the amazing bottom end, the groove, with the guitar wound around it, and her vocal on top. Might be Mick and John’s best work. RIP Christine. So glad to have seen them when she returned after that long break.

Christine’s songs are my favourite Fleetwood Mac songs. Everywhere, You Make Loving Fun, and Hold Me take me to a specific time, place, and partner that I will never have again. She captured the essence of love in these simple pop songs.

Fleetwood Mac was probably one of my favorite bands growing up, and Rumors I'd argue is one of the greatest albums of all time anywhere.
It could be argued that Christine and Buckingham were the musical heart of Fleetwood Mac, and its engine. It also must have been tough for Christine to compete with Stevie Nicks but she did.
She was musically brilliant, and has a huge musical legacy.
RIP
