At this point, unless the recovered secret files are of Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up”, I will be extremely disappointed.

So much of the response to this amounts to "tell me you don't understand the 1st Amendment without telling me you don't understand the 1st Amendment".
Twitter is a private company. DNS is a private organization. Biden was a private citizen.
Where does the 1A apply again?

So when powerful corporations conspire together with politicians to abuse gaps in the legal system in order to manipulate world events, you feel the government's role should be to step back and let it happen? Because thats how private corporations work? I got good news for you: they're only getting started.

They’ve only been doing it for hundreds of years. Absolutely can’t wait until they really get it into 1st gear.

You mean like how they manage to fill the supreme court with right wing hacks that allow corporations and other black bag money to dump billions into US election campaigns almost entirely to the favour of the GOP? yes that's terrible, clearly campaign finance reform should be at the top of the GOP's agenda, oh what's that they dont care that individuals can happily buy Senators with impunity?? how bizarre??

Is it just me or do the people who scream about the 1st amendment the most seemingly understand it the least.

I find there's a high correlation between people who scream about the 1st and people who end up pleading the 5th. Kind of like they actually know what the 1st amendment is all about but they deliberately lie about its purpose to other people to set up false narratives from which they derive personal gains... Those kind of people, y'know?

How did they conspire?
Candidate's office: Hey, could you please not show dick pics of my son?
Twitter: we'll look at our rules and act accordingly (multiple screenshots of just such a discussion follow). Ok, we'll remove and not allow them to be posted
Conspiracy! What part is wrong here? Should they not give access to major campaigns as these issues are more important? I'm failing to see anything here. There was no threat of repercussions, so it was just a request. Is that somehow amoral? Should they not have asked? If so, why?

Haha well that was uncalled for. Also you’re wrong about Phillips, we can just agree to disagree. Not much more to “debate”.

This is a pretty disingenuous summary of what Twitter execs actually did. It went far beyond removing nude photos. The emails fully confirm they wanted to censor the STORY first and were scrambling to find the best possible justification for doing so
But guess what? None of them are government officials and they already all lost their jobs = not a bombshell story

Seems to be lots of rumors now swirling that Twitter is introducing its own payment token.
Not surprising if true.

No idea yet if it's true or not. Twitter Coin currently trending. Seemed a highly possible step from the get go given Musk's previous support of crypto and Binance being in on the Twitter acquisition. Will be very interesting to see how things play out if it's true.
