Sean Monahan Park in Brampton
https://twitter.com/user/status/1541831481450008577
Glenforest Park North and South in Brampton has been renamed Sean Monahan Park.
According to Monahan, you can take a walk in the park. You can also sit in the park. You can also take a walk and then sit in the park.

I would add that Johnny actually retweeted the above tweet (which is why it showed up in my feed), so read into that whatever you will.

i'd have to think Johnny is reupping with the flames for 8 yrs at $5m per so the flames will have leftover cash to sign other guys

Monahan sounds like such a great guy. It's a shame what's happened with his career with all the injuries and declining play.

He's a millionaire with great hair and a park named after him!

I love Sean Monahan. He has been an excellent Flame, even if his career is over today. But I sure hope it's not!

Word. I’d really like to see him be an important part of the 2023 cup winning Flames.

Sean is still one of my favorite Flames and I really hope he has a resurgence in 2022 with those new hips of his.

2022 NHL Playoffs:
MacKinnon scores an highlight end to end rush against the Blues with 3 mins left. Yawn.
Draisaitl scores 25 points in 5 games on one ankle against the Flames. Yawn.
Cale Makar looks like Bobby Orr Jr. Yawn.
Johnny scores in Game 7 OT to send us to the 2nd round. Yawn.
Flames score 3 goals on Smith in the first 3 minutes of Game 1. Yawn
Rasmus scores 155 ft away on Smith to tie the game. Yawn.
The best moment in the 2022 NHL playoffs was the bear hug Johnny gave Monny after Game 7!

I love this park thing a lot.
It should have the most boring playground ever.
A slide with the smallest degree of incline you've ever seen.
Dwarf sized swing sets with red lines that you cannot swing beyond.
Roundabouts with built-in resistance to keep it from achieving a speed that can be deemed enjoyable.

^ wouldn't that be an amazing turn of events. Here's hoping. I'd be happy with 25-25 tbh. Frankly, Ill just be happy to see him skating and playing regularly, and hopefully not having to wade through miles of comments complaining that he's not sniping the puck every second he touches it.

Just doing their due diligence as fans by testing his hip mobility.
Next they should get him to play a game of limbo.
We need him battle tested and ready for Oct.
