Shorty was the backbreaker.
Flames can and will play better.
Oilers are scoring 5.5 a game, though. That's a problem no matter what .

12th straight game 2 loss? sigh. What is with the Flames and ridiculous losing streaks.
The officiating was atrocious tonight, and sucked all the momentum from the Flames game 5v5. That said, Flames were also just pretty bad tonight. Terrible defense, and Markstrom has been a bit leaky. Can't be blowing leads like the Flames have been at this point.
Be better.

I have no hesitation saying the refs cost us that game.

And I’d bet both teams would agree the reffing was terrible tonight.

Congratulations to that ref Chris Lee(?), just based on this game, he will not be reffing in the 3rd round.
Flames have not been great at all but the poor officiating on calls against both sides is absolutely astonishing.
Its extremely frustrating to watch the Flames come out and play exactly the way they need too, dominate, take a lead and then just throw it all away by sitting back and turning the puck over.
