Like I know football, and have played quite a bit of it, but does the draft ensure you have a player at every position? I'm thinking I'd be better of making the first twenty picks myself than switching to auto to ensure the computer fills out my team with the appropriate depth at each position.

The CPU will be smart enough to handle that.

Everytime I enter the draft board it says "Your team must have 2 WR, 2 DT, 2 CB and 1 of every other position to play". I wrote all the positions down on paper, for myself. But you can also check your roster while in the franchise. In the franchise you can check your roster/who you've drafted, and by holding left or right trigger (I forget), you can go through all the different positions to see who you have. I think there are only 22 positions anyway.

Also, I think there are 53 rounds.

Also, do you guys want me to make a party and invite everyone to it? We can chat/yell at each other, during the draft.

As long as you've played a franchise mode once before, or know football well, it should't be an issue.
The game will not permit you to draft too many players at one position (after you draft 2 TEs you can't draft another, etc).

Yes, make use of this. (beware, there is a timer in the top left corner)

You can use the triggers to show you any combo of

All players
Drafted players (by your team)
Available players

at each position, so pay attention to what positions are starting to 'run', which positions are already picked clean, and when the less glamourous positions start getting picked.

I did one fantasy draft for an offline franchise and noticed that the computer is either very formulaic or loves to run positions. In round X 25 out of 30 teams will all pick the same position. (mostly in the middle rounds, 7-15)

Ok well I can start the party in about 20-25 minutes (when me and my friend are done our co-op game). Only 3 of us are online right now (+ my friend) so hopefully more of us join in. I don't want to do this fantasy draft with only 4/15 of us.

So we finished the draft and it took a solid 2.5 hours. Hopefully we can get the league going now. Only problem is me and Gozer can't play each other.

But for those have yet to sign up to the dynasty, feel free. And since all the teams were CPU drafted, if you want to know what team has which players, PM me and I'll try and post them.

Oh, and for people playing computers, feel free to do so anytime, no need to wait.

So I just played my first game (against CPU) and won. My next game is also against the CPU but it will not allow me to play. So I'm assuming we can't move ahead to week 2 until everybody has played their game.

Fricken joined the draft late last night, and missed the first 5 rounds. Wow am I glad, Justin Tuck is a fricken beast in this game!
