Please excuse my ignorance - what is the difference between a regular jersey and a Fanatics branded jersey? Other than one being $200 and the other $150.

And IMO the quality difference is actually quite big, they are not even close quality wise when you see them up close.
Honestly unless it's for a young kid I wouldn't recommend the fanattic version to anyone.
The difference in quality is easily worth the extra $50 between the two jersey styles.
Also the Horsehead jerseys aren't included, but if anybody is looking for a new Retro jersey they are on sale on the Adidas website for 40% off with the promo code Cyber. Think the sale ends today.

the problem is they say they are "authentic" but they are not good quality compared to real AUTHENTIC made in Canada on ice jerseys.
Reebok edge quality is so much better then the new adidas authentics. I bought a new blasty but would have preferred to buy a made in Canada version but they don't sell it.
Adidas authentic = Reebok premier.

Haven't touched an Adidas PRO MIC yet. I am sure the quality is great really hoping they will sell them one day... I liked the older koho/CCM replicas they were pretty decent but definitely love old CCM authentics and Reebok edge they just feel like quality. Not impressed with adidas "authentics" but I got a blasty anyway.

I disagree strongly with your last statement. While the Reebok authentics were better than the Adidas authentics, the Adidas authentics are much better than the Reebok premier. The cheap silk screen shoulder patches alone are a non-starter, and the the heat pressed logos that peeled off were bad quality. The adidas authentics are clearly superior.
Personally I rank them Reebok Edge, Adidas Authentic, Reebok Premier, Fanatics.
The Fanatics jerseys should never be bought by anyone anywhere for any reason.

That's true I glazed over that one part the patches and crest are definitely superior but the fabric is reebok premier quality.

The person working at the Fan attic store said that the #1 selling RR jersey was the Avs and then the Blackhawks were 2nd place and the Flames in 3rd place.

Yeah.
When you order them crested from Adidas or NHL Shop directly it's usually the heat pressed lettering (and sometimes the quality of the lettering itself is not as high quality).
If you get it crested via the Flames it's getting crested via Great Plains, and is stitched on with a higher quality number kit usually.
It's why the regular price for crested jerseys on Adidas or NHL Shop is usually $250 CAD, compared to $300 CAD directly through the Flames.
