Haven't been able to watch the game, but I'll jump in to say that Thompson is exactly the type of 1c calgary wishes that they had. And he was acquired through trade.

Huberdeau plays too far up the half boards in the offensive zone. It's more like 3/4boards. Doesn't leave a ton of room for team mates to make room.
