Somehow they robbed Karius of goalie of the year, obviously no one contributed more to the winning team lifting the title.

I hope Liverpool get A or C but it will probably be D so they get a sweetheart group again.

Oh yeah, especially with how bad group D looks.

Group A is going to be fun. Group D is going to be terrible.

If Hoffenheim ends up in Group H, United is going to finish 4th.

Because he's Ronaldo. Obviously Bale's is better. Also, they should do the right thing and have Group D on Thursday nights since that's what it looks like.

Group B is fire, gonna be lots of fun. Also, queue all the "Young Boys playing against the Old Lady" jokes.

Long enough to have it on in the background until 10:30.

The only group winner with fewer points was Roma but they were in a group with Chelsea, Athletico Madrid, and Qarabag - so more understood.

Then they got Porto in the round of 16, Manchester City in the QFs, and Roma in the Semi Finals after Roma's miraculous comeback knocked out Barcelona for them.

Compare that to the CHAMPIONS Real Madrid (just need to remind Liverpool fans of this because I think sometimes they think getting to the finals means they won).

2nd in a tough group (with Tottenham, Dortmund, & APOEL but 14 pts was still more than Liverpool). Then they had to go through PSG, Juventus, & Bayern Munich to get to the final.

So Liverpool didn't actually beat a reigning league champions from any of the top 5 leagues - and their only real tough team was Manchester City - and I feel like when teams from the same domestic league play each other in the CL it's always a bit of a toss up.
Jesus, that was like a rabid grizzly on a newborn fawn.

I think A could be a bit fun, dont know if they will knock out the favorites, but monaco could surprise, brugge no pushover

B, C, and H are all great. 3 big teams eindhoven and young boys plsy exciting styles. A bit scared for Belgrade.... that could be 'lets get our GD up kind of games' for the other 3

D, sheeeeeeeeeet, already said best above, play it on thursdays

E could be a decent battle for 2nd, i really like ajax this year, and greek teams always tough to breakdown at home

F is going to be super cooperative for 2nd

G could surprise a bit, Madrid with no cr7 maybe they struggle to break teams down a bit? Not saying they and roma shouldnt advance, but maybe a few competative games. Cska at home can get a result, and vicky plzen have proven they can dig in
