Default March 25, just two games.

The quiet Monday OOT only has western conference teams playing.
The Canucks try to increase their lead for 1st place in the western
conference and overall. The other three teams playing are separated
by only six points. Both games should be action packed!

Big game for the Blues tonight. If they beat Vegas they are 2 points out of the second wild card spot. If the Blues lose and Canucks win against LA this evening, Vancouver shall be the first team in the league to clinch a playoff spot.

I guess if you want the Oilers to face Vegas in round 1 and lose you hope Vancouver and Las Vegas win. If you want Vegas to sweat you hope for the Blues.

Could be something of Colorado was to finish first and than draw Vegas.

The play-offs in the west are going to be a blood bath from round one on.

The "easiest" match ups are a team that hasn't lost in regulation since January and team that is so good in their defensive system they're making Cam Talbot and David Rittich look all world. Finishing 1st over all likely gets you a date with the defending Stanley Cup Champions who suddenly get an extra 20 million in cap space.

What a year to be good.

I think it would be pretty epic for Vegas to miss after going all in again. Would serve them well, cheaters and all.

Ya, well I want what is best for Calgary. So go Vegas and go Vancouver. Does anyone think LA has a better chance to beat Edmonton? I sure don't.

I think Colorado will take care of Edmonton in the end, if no one else.

I don't think they will go far either but if Vegas takes out Edmonton in round 1 it is a double bonus, Vegas wins a round thus getting us a better pick, Vancouver can knock off LA easier, giving them a better chance of making the West final, getting us again a better pick.

Yea, if the Knights get healthy (lol) they'll be super hard to beat again. They are gigantic defensively and everyone can skate. Great coaching and they simply smother you defensively. Super annoying to play against.

The reason for the early start to the Canucks game, it is a national game for Rogers Monday night hockey.

Knights win 2-1 in OT

Just before the goal, Buchnevich was stopped in a penalty shot, awarded due to Hanifin pull down on a breakaway

So assuming Vegas plays 500 hockey, the Flames now have to go 13-0-0 in their final 12 games to finish tied with Vegas. In other words, the Flames would have to get 26 out of a possible 24 points.

Have the Canucks retrieved a single dump in this period? They've dumped it in every time and not once have they got the puck.

Maybe try something else geniuses.

I can definitely see them having a first round exit if they face Vegas or the Kings.

Dump and chase just isn't their game. The Kings are a bad matchup for them. And Vegas might not be any better
