Now the Cowboys seem to have new life in the NFC East.

It's so infuriating watching the Stamps offence today going back & forth from Brees and the Saints offence haha

The Saints wish the playoffs started next week. They are destroying everyone right now.

NFC East is so bad you really can't rule the Giants out just yet. 7-9 might be good enough in that division. Cowboys will probably be the Cowboys and do enough to get Garrett an extension, which would of course be hilarious.

Should be the favorites now with Smith out and Philly dead in the water.

Big game all of a sudden this Thursday afternoon against the Skins.

If all it takes for the Broncos to win is for me not to watch, I'll gladly oblige.

Sounded like Anthony Lynn made a terrible mistake in calling a pass play on the last 3rd down of the game for the Chargers coming out of the two minute warning.

4-6....queue the Lloyd Christmas memes (it's not happening).

Colts schedule is pretty easy coming in and Luck is on fire. Insane stat Colts fans never thought they'd hear: Luck has not been sacked in 214 straight drop backs. Might really from 1-5 to make the playoffs. Turning out to maybe be a blessing in disguise to have McDaniels bail and get Reich instead.

Impressive win for the Bears tonight. Gives them an advantage to win the Division.

My apologies to those in the gamblor thread. Not sure if I overestimated the Vikings or underestimated the Bears but with a 2 game cushion in the division the Bears have a real shot at it. The defense is legitimate and despite the underwhelming play from Trubisky tonight he has been solid all year long

And their record would be half a game better if Reich hadn’t given away the tie to the Texans. Not hard to see that coming back to haunt them given the standings.

The 2nd AFC Wild card is there for the taking. 5 teams at 5-5 and Denver at 4-6 are not out of it. So the Colts could be the 2nd team in 4 years to start the season at 1-5 and make the playoffs.

The NFC is pretty similar. Carolina is now 6-4 Vikings at 5-4-1. Seattle still play both Carolina and Minnesota head to head.

Bears might be best equipped to beat the Saints with that defense, but Trubisky is basically Alex Smith right now so not sure that'll be enough. Speaking of Alex Smith, that's got a decent chance to be a career ender, certainly it'll be tough to come back from at his age.

It's going to be weird but I think for the case of the Bears I have to cheer for the Packers this week...

Colts should be 5-4-1 if they didn't piss away that OT game against the Titans in Week 4.

I have a fair bit of sympathy for Alex. He's always been a pretty stand up guy, and he gave the Chiefs 5 years of good solid play at the QB position. It wasn't until last year that he had the group of weapons to work with that Mahomes has, and even there the addition of Watkins as a second receiver makes a huge difference. Mahomes couldn't have asked for a better guy to have for a year before taking over. I hope Smith can come back, but that does look a lot like the Joe Theisman injury.

6 times already in the first 10 games they've scored 40+ points, and they've had a brutal schedule too. Insanity. They didn't even look this dominant when they won 13 straight games in '09 en route to a Super Bowl win. I am a little worried they have peaked too early though

The Skins have signed Butt Fumble as backup QB.

We all know Kaep isn't going to get another shot, but man, this is ridiculous.

What's really ridiculous is Nathan Peterman not getting that shot instead of Sanchez.
