seems like a good move to break up the top line and get a little more scoring balance

this i think is a good read for you guys as it goes into the lines and such.

Coach Ryan McGill said the reason for the move was two-fold.

First, to put the defensively solid Van der Gulik in a combo with top scorers Jamie Lundmark and Kyle Greentree.

Next, in hopes that Chucko could help ignite that second line.

What resulted was the first three-win weekend in Flames history, with Germyn’s line chipping in five goals.
