Well at least Granlund got a couple of assists today and had 6 shots on net and is a plus 1 for the year. Maybe he's getting on track again. It sounds like Ferland and Agostino have been noticeable from write-ups, how about the rest of the team? What's up with Baertschi and Reinhart? I really hope it turns around for them and the team as I'd sure like to see lots of the prospects called up throughout this year.

I have watched all the games.
Baertschi has been excellent, best and most dangerous player offensively.
Reinhart - okay, could be better
Ferland - not as good as Sven, but decent
Arnold - okay, better at times but has also struggled a bit
Agostino - similar to Arnold, but more good than bad.
Granlund - the only player besides Sven who has been consistently dangerous.
Wolf - he was good for his only game.
Tousignant - mediocre
Hathaway - decent 4th line effort, not really noticeable though.
Van Brabant - slightly better than Hathaway, but not as good as he could be
Knight - has had some chances, but has been snakebit.
The main problem with the Flames thus far is their woefully bad defense and goaltending. Most of the goals that they have allowed, they could've handled if they were playing at a decent level and making an average NHL goalie calibre saves, but they weren't and that hurts on the scoreboard. The defense is extremely pathetic thus far. Stevenson and Yonkman are bad (Yonks in too slow even for the AHL), and Cundari has made a lot of boneheaded plays defensively. Kulak has been fine, Sieloff has been okay, Wotherspoon has been consistently good in his appearances.

Yonkman being on the team, let alone being the Captain, is probably my least favorite decision by a mile

If he was paired with a guy like Kulak or even Sieloff, it would be better for him as they are less prone to make bad choices out there.
Cundari is great on the offensive side of the puck, but is dreadful defensively, probably a bit worse than Stevensen actually.
Having those two out there affects two different pairings (Usually Cundari's been with Kulak) so it makes things difficult to get consistent D back there, which leads to giving up 4-5 goals a game.
Ideally, what I would like to see for now is
Wotherspoon - Kulak
Ramage - Cundari (ramage is good defensively, would cover up for Cundari)
Sieloff - Yonkman
with guys sliding in and out of the lineup as other players will need ice time and once Potter gets better, it'll help.

Tonight's Scratches:
Kulak, Ramage, Cundari and Hanowski
The PBP and beat writer can't seem to agree if it's Kulak or Culkin scratched

Culkin is in, Kulak is scratched. PBP was right, beat writer was wrong.

Is this game being broadcast on TV at all? Or is radio the best we can do without AHL live?

Flames with a delayed powerplay. Pulled the goalie, going 6 on 5.
