I personally think Kravtsov is a great deal more skilled offensively than Pelletier.

The fact that the team has given him permission to do this means that they have already had discussions with all interested trade partners, all of whom thought that their asking price was too high. It's not as if the player/agent can actually conduct any negotiations, so the whole thing is an exercise in futility designed to have the appearance of actually giving in to Kravtsov's request.

It means that teams can have meetings with the player and agent to discuss plans and expectations. That doesn’t happen typically.

Good read on how the relationship between Kravtsov and Drury broke down.

Well, they definitely have feasted on other players only wanting to go there. (Fox, Erixon, Panarin etc). This is somewhat a balancing act

I mean Pelletier has put up a lot of points in junior, granted they were shortened seasons and it WAS the QMJHL

I'd flip them the 2nd we got from Florida for Kravtsov and let him gel with our Russians in the AHL

Does sound like he doesn’t want to play in the AHL though.

I'll admit the "#### Chris Drury" vibes are resonating stronger with me than the "#### the AHL" vibes

Fair. If that’s the case, definitely would be a decent pick up for a 2nd rounder

Let’s send that 2nd from Florida. Kratsov has a better chance than that 2nd in turning into something. Helps soften the blow of Bennett blowing up after being traded

After reading that article it makes me wonder how many people have short memories of When Drury was here for only one season and wasn't happy and made it known.
So Mr Drury in my mind is a hypocrite. Saying this player was Quitting on the team we all he did was staying and playing ALL the while sulking and moaning and bitching continued .....I'm glad he didn't stick around.
Karma Chris .....comes back to bite you in the ass.
Makes me really want Tre to go after him

On the other hand Drury had heard rumours of him being a trade candidate and made it very clear he did not want to play in a Canadian market and yet Button the clown pulled the trigger on that deal anyhow.

Kypreos mentions the Flames as a team who has inquired/interested in Kratsov
15 teams expressed interest Jets and Sens are 2 others in addition to the Flames

Which prospect would you give up for Krvatsov?

I don't think NYR would be interested in the rest. Pretty uninspiring collection beyond those 4

With Strome being benched in Chicago I wonder if Strome for Kratsov would make sense.
Would unite the Strome brothers in New York.
Kratsov is younger, so New York may want an add on

I'd move Pelletier for Kravstov. That's about it though. I believe is a fair trade.
